Pin Information

• Die - Struck lapel pins are made from a base metal that is then stamped with soft enamel.
• The base metal is available in copper, zinc alloy, or iron.
• The available finshings on the die - struck pins are: Gold, Antique Gold, Silver, Antique Silver, Nickel, Black Nickel, Antique Nickel, Copper, Antique Copper, Brass and Antique Brass.
• Die - Struck lapel pins are available with the following backing: Butterfly (military clasp), safety pin, tie-tack, screw back and magnetic.
• Bolder designs are recommended for your lapel pins in order to prevent any unsatisfactory coloring caused by lines and figures that are too thin or too small.
• General enamel coloring requires a surrounding metal space to ensure good quality painting results. Therefore it is usually necessary to allow for blank metal rim (0.3mm minimum).
• For budget considerations, iron material can be used instead of copper, but the metal surface can not be polished as a result it is of lesser quality.(not recommended).

• Danglers are a second pin that hangs from the main pin. They take away from the idea of a static pin and add a little extra to the visual style. They range in price depending on size.


• Blinkers are LED lights that can be added to your pin for an extra appeal. Blinkers are an additional $1.00 per light and are available for any pin type.


• Sliders are a second pin that is attached to the main pin through a slot. This allows the second pin to slide back and forth in that slot to add action to the design of the pin. They range in price depending on size and type.


• Also available for Die - Cut Lapel Pins is glitter. Adding glitter to your pins will give each pin an extra edge that is sure to be more eye catching. Each color of glitter is $.30 for the pin.
